Jalisa Jackson, B.A.
Former Research Specialist
Jalisa Jackson is a Clinical Research Specialist, Sr. at the Duke Center for Eating Disorders. In May 2021, she graduated from Duke University where she studied Psychology and African & African American Studies. She has a range of research interests including how identity, sociocultural development and various forms of trauma play into the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, or lack thereof, in eating disorders and other mental illnesses. At the Center, Jalisa aims to collaborate in advancing current research and treatment initiatives formulated to empower individuals and their communities around mental wellness.
