Ben is a project lead for the Duke Eating Disorder Research Lab, as well as a research associate and lab manager for the Adcock Lab. Prior to Duke, he obtained his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Temple University, where he worked in Dr. David V. Smith's Neuroeconomics Lab, using neuroimaging and non-invasive brain stimulation techniques to examine the neural mechanisms of social and economic decision-making. Ben is currently studying the modulation of neural networks in individuals with perfectionism, aiming to enhance learning from mistakes and increase brain resilience within this population. Outside of the research realm, he enjoys playing soccer, supporting FC Barcelona, and watching Seinfeld.
