Treatment Study for Childhood Tummy Pain:
The Duke Tummy Pain (DTP) Study
This study is investigating 2 new treatments for young children, ages 5-9 years old, who get a lot of tummy aches. Frequent tummy aches (also called functional abdominal pain) is one of the most common tummy problems experienced by young children. Children with frequent tummy aches may miss school or worry that something might be physically wrong with them. The Duke Tummy Pain Study wants to help parents and children learn how to manage tummy aches in a positive way.
If you want to learn more about the study, check us out on television!

If you want to talk to someone about possibly joining the study, please contact Alannah Rivera-Cancel by calling 919-385-0836 or by emailing alannah.rivera.cancel@duke.edu.
